Within every illustrator, designer and architect there is an artist, looking out beyond the routine tasks that fund our mortgages; surveying the world with the scrutinous, meticuolous appreciation of a painter, poet, or musician.

I am a professional illustrator. I draw pictures for a living. But in the year 2000 I rediscovered painting. The images on this page are family members, painted in oil on large gessoed panels.

From this point of diversion, I have gone on to paint commissioned portraits, both public and private. I am available for both live sittings and from photographs.
